सादगी / Simplicity

सादगी पसंद लोगों को भव्यता का लोभ नहीं होता. ऐश्वर्य उन्हें नहीं लुभाता. दिखावा करने की बजाय वे वास्तविकता के नज़दीक बने रहना चाहते हैं. वे आडम्बर रहित जीवन जीते हैं.
ये जीवनशैली, रहन - सहन के मामलों में औरों से प्रतियोगिता नहीं करते.

दूसरों की स्वीकृति का ठप्पा लगवाना उनके लिए जरूरी नहीं होता. अतः दूसरे क्या सोचेंगे यह परवाह किये बिना अपनी जीवन शैली अपने अनुरूप चुनते हैं.

वे औरों से प्रभावित नहीं होते. अतः दूसरों के एश्वर्य की नकल नहीं करते.

वे चटपटे व भाँति - भाँति के व्यंजनों की बजाय साधारण भोजन खाते हैं. अपने घर में बहुत महंगी साज - सज्जा नहीं रखते. साधारण वाहन का प्रयोग करते हैं.

वे आरामदायक, साफ - सुथरे, सही फिट के वस्त्र पहनते हैं जो अति सजावटी, भड़कीले व तनदिखाऊ न हों ( जिनकी तरफ बार बार ध्यान जाए) किन्तु पुराने रिवाज़ के भी न हों. सिर्फ वस्त्रों की वजह से औरों के आकर्षण या तारीफ़ के पात्र बनें ये उन्हें गवारा नहीं होता. उनके मंहगे व नित नए नए वस्त्र किसी में हीं भावना या असहजता भरें यह उन्हें पसंद नहीं होता. 

गैरज़रूरी खर्चे नहीं करते हैं. अतः मितव्ययी होते हैं. पैसा ज़्यादा है इसलिए ज़्यादा खर्चना ही है यह ज़रूरी नहीं समझते. बचाए गए धन को परोपकार में इस्तेमाल करते हैं.

उन्हें अपने शारीरिक आकर्षण से किसी को चमत्कृत नहीं करना अतः वे मेकअप नहीं करते, बहुत गहने नहीं पहनते, पैरों में आरामदायक जूते पहनते हैं, तरह - तरह के केश विन्यास नहीं आज़माते.

दिखावा करने से कार्य बढ़ जाता है, लेकिन वे काम घटाना चाहते हैं ताकि जीवन पेचीदा की बजाय आसान बने.

सदा संतुष्ट रहने के कारण ये सादा रहते हैं. अपनी सादगी इन्हें और संतुष्ट रखती है.

Simplicity loving people do not crave for magnificence. Grandeur does not attract them. Instead of showing off they want to be near to reality. They live a life style free from pageantry. They do not compete with others' lifestyle. They do not seek approval from others.They choose their life style as per their convenience without bothering what people will say. They are not impressed with others therefore do not follow others' way of living. They do not demand spicy and a large variety of recipes in food. They decorate their houses in simple, less costly ways and use ordinary vehicles. They wear comfortable, clean, easy fit and  modest clothes which are not too costly and body and figure  showing (which catch attention of people). Seeking others' attention and appreciation on the basis of clothes is not acceptable to them. They do not want to fill inferiority and uneasiness in others due to their own luxurious and daily new clothes. They do not spend unnecessarily. They spend less. They feel that having lots of money does not mean that one should spend a lot. They use their surplus money for social causes. They do not want to impress others with their bodily or facial beauty. Therefore they do not opt to use cosmetics. They wear minimal jewellery and comfortable, durable and simple footwear. They do not try various hair styles. They feel that decoration and showing off consumes a lot of time and makes life complicated. They want to make their life easy. Their internal satisfaction makes them simple and they remain satisfied with their simple looks.
